I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
