I have enjoyed countless of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
