I have gambled on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
