I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
