Blackjack is a game that evokes images of a crazy ride. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are bizarre. As with the popular amusement park ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for a while before it bottoms out once again. You must be a blackjack player who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is packed full of them.
If you like the small coaster, one that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a fatter bet, then jump on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the good life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly remember how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that devastating fall as clear as day.
