Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so very similar to a wild ride the similarities are alarming. As with the popular fair ground experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going great for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a black jack player that is able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.
If you like the petite coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not considering the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you do not, you may not naturally remember how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride … your head in the air. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t find it easy to recollect how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that mortifying drop as clear as day.
